Michelle and Ed are one of those couples that are just meant to be together. He designs video games and she designs the most amazing invitations—the two are a match made in artsy heaven. More importantly, they seem to be completely enamored with each other. Sure, I probably say that about half my couples, but this is one of the few cases where he calls her pet names on Facebook, just as much as she does. Seriously. The two are absolutely adorable together, and their wedding was a brilliant melding of two families on a unusually warm November Day.

The couple opted for a first look, which we did in the back of Michelle’s home, just after Ed pulled up with his entourage. First looks are supposed to be a moment where the couple can be together on their wedding day for the first time, but as I peered behind my shoulder, I saw half of Michelle’s family crushed up against the window screen to get a good view. It was so cute. The ceremony was held at St. Thomas More Church in Manalapan, NJ, where Michelle’s father is a deacon. The two had a lovely traditional wedding, followed by a few words from her father. Tears were flowing and seemed as if the entire Nicosia clan had tissues strategically place on their attire, just in case.

The reception was at the aptly named Reception Center in Matawan, NJ. The party started the second the DJ spun the first single and continued all evening long. I have never seen so many people dancing for such a long stretch without a break. Ed lead the c M&E6

The highlight of the evening was when Michelle’s sister, Diane, took the microphone and proceeded to belt out one of the most beautiful songs. I was floored—her pipes could give any American Idol a run for their money. The evening was capped off with a group hug that saw Michelle and Ed engulfed by their loving friends and family. It was just one of those evenings where you couldn’t help but go home happy. Congratulations, Michelle and Ed. You guys rock.
