Ramsey Country Club Wedding Photos in New Jersey

I won’t lie, I fell in love with Lauren and Keith when I heard how Keith proposed to his betrothed by creating a legitimate Game of Thrones-style burnt parchment scroll, complete with wax family seal. Inside was a declaration of his ever-lasting love and an offer of marriage that could only be shared between two people geekier than Allison and me. That’s seriously tough to pull off. While I don’t know what the letter said, I imagine it written in an old-timey English dialect with a bevy of words that I can’t pronounce, let alone define. What matters most is that he captured Lauren’s heart and, a few months later, resealed that scroll with a kiss and a vow at the Ramsey Country Club. Not quite Medieval Times, but it served its purpose well.

Lauren and Keith tied the knot on a perfect summer day. Their ceremony eschewed swords and sorcerers in favor of a more traditional — yet no less endearing — affair. Keith lit up as Lauren walked down the aisle in a gorgeous pale rose Kitty Chen gown, her hair elegantly tied up in a bun and a smile from ear to ear. The ceremony was presided over by Reverend Josh Goldfarb (a man often described as the closest one can come to touching god without actually crossing the Pearly Gates) and included a lovely letter and wine box sealing ceremony (shouldn’t everyone put away a bottle for a rainy day). An exchange of rings and a long kiss later and the two were forever bonded by gold and wine. Rumor has it that the only way this marriage could end is if Keith dies in a trial by combat.
