Bridgewater Manor Wedding Photos {Patti & Jeff}

When Patti calls Jeff her Superman, it isn’t a metaphor for his personality or charm. Jeff actually looks like the Last Son of Krypton. He’s got this Clark Kent thing going on that could give Don Draper a run for his money. That said, Patti isn’t exactly Lois Lane; I’m thinking more Mary Jane Watson-Parker, but with a Latin flair and a personality that lights up the room.

The two tied the knot at Saint Adalbert Polish Church in Elizabeth, NJ on a beautiful August day. They exchanged vows during a full Catholic mass that gave me more than enough time to scope out interesting shots and slow down a bit to catch a few secret smirks and smiles. Patti looked stunning in her Enzoani gown and groomsmen stepped up their game with matching Vans and purple socks. Talk about Rock & Roll.

With plenty of time for portraits before the cocktail hour, Patti, Jeff and I leisurely traipsed around the Bridgewater Manor looking for fun portrait spots while gingerly avoiding the other wedding taking place. Jeff was a complete ham, posing for any ridiculous photo I could conjure up and dodging mind bullets from Patti who laughingly nudged him for his corniness. Beneath the jokes and laughs, I could tell these two are the best of friends.

The reception was a party for the ages. The couple stormed through the Bridgewater Manor doors as CKY cranked over the loudspeakers. After a lap around the room for high fives, Jeff embraced Patti and the two celebrated their first dance to the tune of “A Kiss To Build A Dream On” by Louis Armstrong. Before the wedding, I asked the couple to keep their conversation to a minimum during the first dance to avoid awkward facial expressions in the photos. They did what I asked for the first minute or so and then Jeff whispered something and Patti started to crack up. I didn’t mind one bit—the smiles they shared during those four short minutes spoke volumes about their relationship. Then again, they could have been talking telepathically, like Jean Grey and Cyclops, but Jeff is way too cool to be Scott Summers. Congrats guys.
